


A Life Long Learning project funded by Leonardo da Vinci running over 2 years, begining October 2007 and ending September 2009
Transfer of Innovation across Europe within the field of visual impairment in 3 different knowledge-sharing-groups covering the following subjects:
Visually Impaired Refugees/Immigrant
Elderly Visually Impaired 60+
Acquired Deafblindness
The aim of the project is to take already existing knowledge/expertise of the skilled professionals and existing education programmes/modules from the 6 partner organisations and through an adaptation phase transfer these to all the partners, including networking and a European perspective.
Through transfer of innovation the KnowProVip project will enhance and strengthen the training, knowledge and expertise of the professional - teachers and trainers - working with visually impaired people The primary target group in KnowProVip are the individuals involved in teaching and training the visually impaired:professional teachers, trainers, therapists, and special teachers for learners with special needs

Three adapted modules for training of professionals working with visually impaired persons
