Welcome to the EUNESIS Knowledge Base

European Networking for Sensory Impairment Solutions

With the support of the EC Jean Monnet Programme (Project no. 536879-LLP-1-2013-1-FR-ASSOC-AOG), the ENVITER and HIPEN Networks are developing in partnership the EUNESIS Knowledge Base as a Resource for everyone involved in the development of best practice for the education and training of people with sensory disabilities.

On this site you will find:

  • Outcomes of projects which Network Members have carried out in partnership, outcomes which take forward specific areas of knowledge and practice and which are available for you to use and to develop further.
  • Information about publications – papers, books, training programmes – which Members have written as a result of their networking activities.
  • Initial information about the European Academy on Sensory Impairment (EASI) which will become a resource of training programmes which have been developed by Network Members. These will be available on line or as training initiatives delivered for your staff.

These are the first steps in what we intend will become an international resource for knowledge, expertise and experience on sensory impairments.

The first steps because the growth and use of the EUNESIS Knowledge Base are ongoing – with your help and input.

Please contact the Project Coordinator, John Harris – johngharris@btopenworld.com – with your comments and input.

We look forward to hearing from you.
